ReplyDeleteAlways happy to hear about someone making a sale. And I love vampire books! (Are we to assume this particular bloodsucker looks like Aidan Turner?)
Meanwhile... you write entirely too fast and make the rest of us seem lazy by comparison, except (of course) for a certain party from AW who shall remain nameless (*cough* tt42 *cough*) who could probably write a book a week if challenged to do so, and maybe Shady from the YA threads... okay, so maybe it's just that I'm pathetically slow.

Acksherly, neither of the vampires in this book look like Aidan. It was written last year, before I'd ever watched a single episode of BH. One of them, Jonathan, is Irish though - which is a sheer coincidence. Like I said, when I wrote it I'd never seen BH and had barely heard of Aidan Turner. Didn't even know he was Irish.
ReplyDeleteAnyhoo...thanks for the compliment! I don't write that fast, though. 2009 was all about writing and 2010 was for editing and sorting out the stockpiled manuscripts. Hopefully in 2011 I'll be able to combine the two activities and be a bit more balanced in my writing life.
